SIS 

SIS is my current project within my Tiny 5 Safari conceptual art endeavours. 

SIS stands for: 

SIS sister: we women gotta lookout for each other!

SOS: SIS as SOS for endangered insects, tiny critters and their dwingling habitats (for worms)  

        SIS seeds instead of sweets: my rebellious act of changing our gifting culture!

   SIS name of the rainworm family I rescured from the a fishing and a pet store. 

Tiny 5 Safari has evolved over the years and covered snails, woodworms, ants, sqids, mushrooms etc ; dive with me into the world of little critters. Each conceptual art project is dedicated to a different cute little fellow. It all started with my: 

Rail&Road Trip from Sunday, July 1st 2018, till 72 days later. Most of this website is about my R&R.

The entries on this webpage mainly show how my path as an artist evolved. First I shared some of the experiences on my 72 day Rail&Road trip, which resulted in my first art shows. The short stories in "Shomoir" (=short story & memoir) were written over four years in relation to my experiences in various jobs that financed my PhD in environmental humanities. Also in all of this I found solace in after my father`s and brothers death. Have fun exploring my website. I would love to hear from you!
