Lucky in Paris

Eiffel tower is outdated, chasing insects is my new hobby, as cleaning ladies should do. I prefer to chase them with a camera though, to be honest. I figured, i`d be lucky next to the river, so I headed from Austerlitz station to the Seine, just a few minutes walk actually. Soon I found a cozy bar, where I ordered snails, oysters, salmon and a delicious wine. I had two hours for some insects to crawl over my feet. To help my luck, I took a seat next to a small grassy area. Enjoying the few, the atmosphere of people strolling by and the delicious food, I felt like I had all the time in the world. My mind started to wonder off and I just soaked in the good vibes. Every now and then I looked closely at that grassy area. then I zoomed in, really? Did I see right? I pushed some leaves aside. was it the wine or did I see right?

I still couldn`t believe it and just picked the special leave I had just noticed. I leaned back in my comfortable chair, had a close look and then a big smile decorated my face. I had just found a four leave clover. I felt like I had discovered the unicorn. My dad used to bring me four leaved clovers sometimes and I had always regretted, that I did not keep them. But he certainly taught me to look for them, that training had paid off. I had found a four leave clover in Paris. What a start for my 70 day trip!
